Schedule Meetings with Google Calendar


The Zoom extension for the Chrome and Firefox browsers allows you to schedule and start your Zoom meetings quickly using your Google calendar. Use the Zoom extension for browsers to start meetings, schedule, invite others and edit default meeting settings. To install, visit zoom.us/download. Install the Zoom client for meetings and the Zoom extension for Chrome or Firefox browsers to get started. After installing the extension, locate the Zoom icon next to the browser’s address bar and click to login with your Google account. Now that you’re logged in, you can make any Google appointment a Zoom meeting with a single click. Create a new appointment in the Google Calendar. First, give your meeting a title and set the date and time or repeat recurrences. Next, simply click “make it a zoom meeting” to populate your link to join and meeting information. Add your meeting participants and conference rooms and edit the description is needed. To start the scheduled meeting as the host, simply open the calendar appointment and use the same link to join. Locate the Zoom icon next to your browser’s address bar to schedule meetings or start instant meetings with your video on or off upon joining.
