DIY How to make kanzashi ribbon swan, wedding table decoration (ENG Subtitles) – Speed up #502

Hi. Today I will show you how to make kanzashi swans. I made it by request from my viewer. Detailed list of all needed items is in the description of this video. Cut a body of swan out of floral foam. Take about 80cm of steel wire and fold it in a half. Fold the end of wire… …and attach it to the floral foam. Now, form it into a shape of neck. Wrap the wire by using paper tape… …and then wrap it by using cotton wool. Now, wrap the neck by using ribbon (25mm in width). Draw 2 wings on a thick paper and cut them. Cut the strips out of ribbon. 2.5cm x 6cm each. Fold a strip in a half,.. …cut off a corner,.. …burn the edge… …and press it (to glue it). Fold the sides to the middle. Burn the edge and press it. Glue the petals to the wing. Cover entire front. Add a few petals on the other side of wing, because this side will be partly visible. Do the same with the second wing. Now, glue the petals to the backside of swan. Make a first row of petals on the top of floral foam… …and one row on the side. Also make one row on the opposite side. Now, make more rows on the top… …and then glue the petals to the front. Leave a space for the wings. Glue the wings. Wrap the neck by using braided ribbon. Leave about 3cm for the head of swan. Make the eyes out of felt. Next, make a cone… …and glue it to the head (this is a beak). And it’s done. Those swans are a beautiful decoration and a lovely wedding gift. When placed properly they will create a shape of heart. Please give a like to this video and subscribe to my channel. Thanks for watching. Bye bye.
