4 Tips For Choosing Wedding Ceremony & Reception Music

Hi everyone I just wanted to come on really quick and share a few quick tips About choosing music for your wedding ceremony and your wedding reception The first tip I’m going to talk about is Who’s going to play the music during your ceremony? Will you have a DJ? Will you have a band? Will someone be playing an instrument? Are you going to use the Venue sound system that might be available to you. You just want to consider what your options are and how the music is going to be played. Sometimes DJs that play for the reception can also play for the ceremony. So talk to your DJ about that. And just kind of figure out what method you want to use, what feels most natural to you. The second thing I want to talk about is your processional. So that is when everyone walks in to the ceremony and walks down the aisle. So some processionals start with the officiants, some start with the officiant already being at the altar. And it usually can be led by parents or the groom and his best man. However you want it set up is totally up to you. What song will they be using when they walk down that aisle? One thing to consider is how long that song is you want to make sure that it’s long enough So that everyone has enough time to get down the aisle. If you find that maybe you need a few more seconds or maybe like another minute added on it might be cool to Play the original song and then if you use a DJ, have your DJ add on maybe the instrumental into that song to keep the flow going and Have it be a little bit more natural. The third thing that I want to talk about is the recessional so when the couple is announced as the newlyweds What song are you going to play to announce that. It should be fun should be exciting something that everyone can cheer to and clap to and give all excitement and shouts and Congratulations to the new couple so and that song will also be the song that the entire wedding party Will walk down the aisle to, so you want to make sure that it’s fun and it celebrates the newlyweds. And then the last thing that I’m going to talk about is the first dance. So You definitely want to make sure that you choose a song that’s special to you as a couple. It doesn’t have to be a popular song It doesn’t have to be something that everyone will know, it just has to be special to you as the couple And you want to make sure that you choose the version of the song that’s best for you. So is it a remix? Is it An instrumental? Is it mixed a little bit? Whatever is special to you and your fiance soon-to-be spouse. So those are just a few quick tips that I wanted to share To consider when choosing music for your wedding reception and ceremony. I hope that’s helpful. Make sure you like and put lots of hearts or any comments and feedback. I look forward to hearing from you guys. Thank you
