Look at all the balloons! Very wide variation! This channel is about an international couple (Japan/Korea) who moved to US. Hello, everyone. I’m Ayaka. How are you doing today? My husband, Yong, turned 30 in September. We hosted a birthday party at our house. I’d like to share how we prepared for it. Now Yong is 30… He was 27 when we first met. Well, I’m already 30 by the way. Please enjoy! We came to Party City to get Yong-chan’s birthday party goods. Really big. So, we have 40 minutes because it’s closing in 40 minutes. I don’t know where to look at. Many stuff… Look at all these candies! It’s like a rainbow. They don’t necessarily look good, but they’re colorful. Look at all the balloons! Very wide variation! Amazing. There’s “Happy Birthday” balloon, but Since there are alphabets and numbers right here, I want to use these to emphasize “3” and “0” lol I asked the staff later and found out these balloons don’t float. So I didn’t buy them. Floating balloons were $15 each, so decided to consider more… We’re getting napkins and plates for the party. Though I didn’t want to buy one-time use items, we need to get plates because we don’t have enough. It’s convenient that they display plates and napkins by designs. Because I want napkins and plates right now! This square is nice. This is cute. I’m not sure what it will look like if I put food on these. Very sparkly. There’s green, light green, blue, light green, and purple. The other side. Red, pink, orange, yellow… This is pretty! Exploring the Halloween section! Tons of Halloween products. There are so many skeleton items… What is this bottle for? what is it? I have no idea. Oh, there’s a snake inside! Very wide variety of wigs! I guess they have more kinds than “Donki”(Japanese big shop) has. What’s that? We can choose from here. It seems we can order by numbers even if they don’t have a stock. They have lights too. Isn’t this amazing? They have different sections for each character. Parents can go to their kid’s favorite character’s section. Hello Kitty is here. We can get Hello Kitty items here. I guess this style is more helpful for parents. There’s Frozen, Mickey Mouse, Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Batman. Going back to party goods hunting:) Maybe I can get a birthday hat or something. Oh yeah, sure! Let’s get one. We can just use it over and over, like next year. This is cute! Isn’t this something we put candies in and hit? Wonderful! They’re like Aladdin world. We found 30th birthday party section! How’s this? Oh, but expensive. It feels expensive when one-time-use item costs $7. This is nice. What is that? Swirl decoration. Oh, nice! I think I like this more than the balloons. You know what? Maybe we can get one of these, and the “Happy Birthday” balloon. How about it? This is pretty. This is a very “American” section. I love these but we’re not getting because it’s Yong’s birthday party… We ended up not buying the balloons because they were out of budget. We went home and started changing the layout. It’s not final yet. It looks like this now. Very simple, but we made this party room. Since this table is too small, We added this table and took out its legs, put this box under it… Let me share the items we got at Party City:) This hat was the most expensive purchase. About $15. We’re planning to use this over and over. Right, Yong? This can be used as a welcome board, not just for the party. And the “30” items. 30, 30, 30! We got 2 sets of plates(16 plates), and one set of napkins(16 napkins). Since we can’t use them again anyways, we chose “30” designs. We got this instead of balloons. I wonder what it’ll look like. I’m worried if they can be gorgeous. This is “Happy Birthday” letters. We got these birthday items because we can use them many times. The total was $47.55. Decoration time! The “Happy Birthday” letter. Well, this is reversed. We can’t do this, right? Should be like this. A defective product! We finished decorating like this. It’s not that gorgeous… We put our wedding photo, and We got this lights at Target with $5. Very cheap. I made this “30” with photos. This decoration looking like a star is the one we got during our honeymoon in Germany. We put lights in it so that it will shine. The day of the party! I’m very grateful for this opportunity. Happy Birthday!
